Mwamfushi Safari Lodge is a premier safari destination located on the peaceful banks of the Great Kafue River in Kafue National Park, Zambia, about 310 km from Lusaka. Surrounded by abundant wildlife—including lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, hyenas, and more—the lodge offers an authentic and immersive safari experience.

Promoting Zambian Tourism
Being locally founded and owned the lodge named after a small but interesting river called Mwamfushi river in Mpika district of Muschinga Province.
The Lodge mission statement is doubed “promoting tourism in Zambia by simply making it affordable”.
The founder is Musonda Katebe, a Banker , Business Practitioner and Lawyer whose thought is that Tourism is an important sector for any country’s economic development therefore there is need to have a vibrant and inclusive participation by both domestic and foreign investors thereby making tourism products available and accessible by both local and international tourists.
Musonda is very passionate about local eco-tourism and conservation of wild life and his vision in future is to incorporate eco- training in his business model where the lodge will work with Government and its cooperating partners in providing eco trainings to the local people around the national park.
Mwamfushi Lodge offers excellent services and is managed by a manager with vast experience in tourism and hospitality industry.
